Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest and your shoulder blades.
Waist: To work out your size, measure your waist in the position your trousers usually sit. As a guide this is roughly 2inches (approx. 5-6cm) below your belly button.
Please note: The measurements given are body measures and we recommend you do not measure over the clothing. Also please hold the tape measure firmly and not loosely as the measurement needs to be fitted. If you measure in between sizes or at the top end of the size, we recommend you go up one size.

(verified owner)So far I’ve only covered about 400 miles of mostly back road riding and some truly hideous stretches in a couple of cities during the 20-30C heat wave that arrived in the UK at the start of Sept 23. This shirt/jacket has been a revelation. Over the years I have owned perforated leather jackets and textile jackets with zipped in mesh panels, none of them were as cool as I’d hoped for. There have been times earlier this year where I’ve dreaded having to put on my motorcycle gear as it has been so hot and humid, but all that has changed now.
On my trail bike behind a small screen there is enough airflow through the shirt to keep me comfortable, even on those hideous rides on city streets approaching 30C. Out in the country the airflow is lovely and reminds me of riding in my youth in just jeans and a t-shirt. With a cotton t-shirt underneath my back was getting a bit sweaty where the protector sits, but changing to a man-made wicking MTB t-shirt with better air-flow solved that problem completely.
An unexpected benefit was less helmet buffeting. I had noticed before that certain jackets seem to amplify the buffeting behind the screen around my helmet. I’d put this down to a screen issue, but the Knox shirt has virtually eliminated the buffering and the helmet noise and dropped considerably as a result.
I’m about a 41” chest and the large size fits me well. If I have any complaints it is a common one, the phone pocket is too small and it would be nice to have zips rather than velco closings on the side pockets, but that is nit picking. I’ve not had to wear another layer on top yet, but I plan to do what I used to do with my perforated leather jacket and put on a lightweight windproof jacket when the temperatures drop later in the day.
At the same time I bought the Action Pro Unisex Trousers in the hope that I could cool my legs along with my torso. I was concerned that a double layer, Knox trousers with a pair of cheapo jeans over the top might prove as hot as my textile ones (even with liner removed and vents open). Thankfully my fears were unfounded and the combo worked great banishing sweaty leg syndrome completely.
My overriding feeling about the shirt and trousers is I wished I’d bought something akin years ago. Top mark Knox.

I have just returned from a very hot TT 2023. I am able to take numerous jackets etc.. with me in the van including air bag systems. This Knox jacket was 100% my go to choice during the TT as it worked fantastically in the conditions with a feeling of security and comfort. 40 years of evolution and what a great Knox jacket.
