SPONSORED RIDER | 2025 SEASON
Aaron Lily
Entering his fifth season in racing, which has seen him become the newcomer NG Racing champion and have two stints in the Hel Performance British Junior Supersport Championship, Aaron Lilly is excited to take another step in his racing journey for 2025.
The 21-year-old Swansea University student began his two-wheeled venture at the age of 16, buying an M2R pit bike with the money racked up from his job at McDonalds. The first target was to enter the British Minibikes Championship and completed a wildcard at Three Sisters before participating in a few winter series races at Stretton.
Catching the racing bug, Aaron then obtained his ACU licence in the year of Covid and started his ‘big bike’ journey in late 2020 on a CB500. Unfortunately, during his first race weekend with NG in 2021, he was involved in an accident with no fault of his own at Paddock Hill Bend (Brands Hatch) writing off the bike. Thankfully, he was able to purchase a Yamaha R3 Junior Supersport machine thanks to his University student loan and raced the Yamaha R3 that same season (2021) and managed to pick up the championship-winning position in the 500 rookies (NGRRC), and two second places in the 125-450 championship (EMRA) and the Phoenix Junior Supersport Championship (NGRRC) and picked up plenty of podiums and race wins along the way.
In 2022 and 2023, Lilly was a consistent name in the BSB paddock competing in two seasons in the Junior Supersport Championship, this time aboard a Kawasaki Ninja 400.
A tough 2023 paired with the change in classes at National level forced a return to the NGRRC Junior Supersport Championship where Lilly took four race wins and a magnitude of podiums on the way to finishing second overall.
For 2025, the 21-year-old will move to the Mini Twins class, racing the Aaron Lilly Racing Suzuki SV650 and is proudly supported by Knox for a third year running.
Off the bike, Aaron is studying motorcycle engineering at Swansea University, whilst working at Nando’s, but when he’s not flipping chicken or CAD designing, he’s on the tools in the British Talent Cup, this year working with Michael Laverty’s team.

Over the few years of racing, I’ve used a few different gloves, and riding protection, but nothing comes close to Knox. They offer great protection and comfort, which when you’re racing are both paramount! I will always Trust in Knox both on the track and in the future, on the road!
