Attention to detail is second to none.  Leather branding on the waistband is subtle. The fly zip is by YKK while the rivets are all Knox branded, as are both the jeans button and the hexagonal key ring.  Practicality is delivered via six useful deep pockets with two front, two back patch and two inside the back waist.  There is an additional lower hip pocket with an invisible zip for extra security.

The Knox Men’s Urbane Pro Trouser is machine washable, CE approved to EN17092-3:2020 Class AA and makes for an excellent addition to any riders Seasonless collection, when added to a Knox base layer for comfort and a Knox waterproof trouser in the rain.  There are discreet mesh panels to allow maximum air flow when on the bike.  They are available in black with a 33” leg length and a choice of sizes from a S to a 5XL.

Simply a brilliant set of trousers! At first sight, I was surprised by how heavy and solid they feel. They are lighter than “regular” touring trousers, but you do feel them when you walk off the bike. But on the bike they feel wonderful – cool, extremely well vented, very comfortable, soft to the touch, stretchy and pliable, I have worn them for a 3 hour trip. Just as comfortable at the end as at the beginning. No itching. No sweat. And still they maintain that solid feeling, solid fabric, solid stitching. – I have no doubt they are AA rated, and if I would choose any of my trousers, I would prefer to go down in these ones! Of course you have to pick the right size (sizing for me was spot on), but then the trousers are very form fitting. One of the problems I always have with touring trousers, is that the trousers are too wide around the knees so the protectors don’t stay in place. With the Urbane Pro, the stretchiness keeps the knee pads solidly in place – again without feeling too tight.
Mightily impressed. Maybe the best piece of motorcycle clothing I have bought!

Fantastic trousers, I have done 3000 miles in them. Well made, cool on a hot day, and they hold the armour exactly where it needs to be all the time. Just wish I bought the size smaller.

Super comfy trousers . Highly recommended when riding in warm to hot temparatures, eg above 25°. happy to have bought them

The trousers exceed my expectations. That is unusual! to the point of being a first. I suppose I should not be wholly surprised as the Urbane Pro shirt is the benchmark product.
Like a small boy; I went out for a ride today. 11 deg C (no matter how sunny) is not ideal in Urbane top/bottom when wearing pig skin gloves and an open-faced helmet. fair to say: my outerwear was breathing faster than was comfortable. Clearly: I am a foolish virgin.

Worn these now for a couple of rides in the UK heat wave and will continue to do so.
They are heavier than I thought , though still comparable with a set of leather pants. On my Tiger 900 GT Pro, the fairings reduce the air flow somewhat, so to get the best air intake to the trousers a slight ‘bow leg’ stance works well. Not the trousers fault obviously but faired bikes will all suffer to some extent. Get hot across the knee joint of course due to the protection.
One improvement would be to add coat hanger loops inside, there is no conveninent way to hang these trousers.
Overall good improvement on my previous kit for hot weather with potential to make a 5 star product.

I bought this Armoured Trousers for regular use in hot equatorial Singapore. To my pleasant surprise this Urbane Pro Trousers provides good protection (AA rated), great flexibility, relatively light weight that I will be willing to wear it out for my rides regularly. So far it is the best hot weather Armoured Trousers I have tried and bought.

Just had my first ride with my new Knox gear. A very snug fit but super comfortable. Measure yourself first, don’t trust your Jean size!
Well made gear and so liberating to not have all the bulk of a textile suit.
Top stuff. Shut up and buy it!

I thought I would wait to write a review until I’d used them in anger. This last weekend I did two and a half days hard riding in the saddle. Four hours, then eight hours and finally 10 hours. Mixture of weather from cool to very warm with a couple of heavy showers as well. I wear padded cycling shorts underneath for added comfort to my bike seat.
These trousers were exactly what I was looking for having tried a couple of pairs of jeans for warm weather riding. Fantastic quality, well fitted and comfortable. Hats off to Knox for a bit of ‘out of the box’ thinking with these, especially the fabric, which is just right. The armour is in the right place, it doesn’t move around and I’m confident it would protect me in the worst case scenario. They might seem a little pricey but you really do get what you pay for.
Great product, easy to order and delivered on time.

I have nothing bad to say about them, top quality! I even used them during last winter (UK winter not continental :D) , the only tiny thing I would say is they dry quite long. Definitely recommend.

Left blighty for a two week, end of summer trip to France via Netherlands, Luxembourg etc.
Super comfy and perfect in the gorges and the mountains. A trendy straight leg cut, so no flappage.
I paired them with the Honister jacket/shirt. A perfect combo. Remained cool throughout yet felt emboldened by the weight, strength and quality.

I found the URBAN PRO trousers a lot more comfortable than I had expected! They are very well made, stretchy and smart. Many deep spacious pockets with of course the flexible knee and hip protection pads! Although the “chainmail weave” lets air flow for hot days, I felt no drafts on a cold January ride because of its inner lining.
Delivery was only 2 days. I am presently very pleased.
The Knox mens leather belt is a good quality leather that I expect to last well.

Great that they are AA. I would like a bit more flare to the trousers so they go OVER my boots a little easier. Great off road. No more overheating. The hip protection could be bigger and I would 100% recommend wearing a belt. Otherwise they could get pulled off your bum.

I have left a review before and this is an update. All is well with the trousers but I had to reinforce the button at the waist as the material stretches enough to make the button pop out. This I did by sewing thread around the button and not a problem anymore.

Size Guide

Waist: To work out your size, measure your waist in the position your trousers usually sit. As a guide, this is roughly 2 inches (approx 5-6cm) below your belly button. Once you have this measure, minus 2 inches (approx 5-6cm) from it to get your trouser size.

Inside Leg: Measure from the top of your inside leg down to your ankle. You should do this whilst standing to get a more accurate measure.

Please note: The measurements given are body measures and we recommend you do not measure over the clothing. Also please hold the tape measure firmly and not loosely as the measurement needs to be fitted.
