The Men’s Wind jacket is a lightweight, warm, 100% windproof mid layer jacket that has been designed to stop the dangerous effect of wind chill on a bike.

So versatile and works not only on the bike but in your everyday life too.

The Wind Jacket mixes stretch softshell, contrasting ripstop panels, windproof membrane with a soft, cosy, velboa fleece interior. High collar with additional stowaway throat guard for extra warmth and wind protection

The result is a high performance 100% windproof jacket which is also part of the Knox Layering System.

  • Deluxe YKK Metallion® zips show a hint of gunmetal teeth to match Knox branding.
  • 1 full length centre zip
  • 2 side zip pockets
  • 2 inside pockets
  • Blue cotton herringbone tape has been appliqued onto the storm guard and over the zip head; this creates a soft zip cover at the neck and stand out detail when the jacket is open.

    Fantastic bit of kit, would thoroughly recommend any and all of Knox's kit to anyone. Keeps you warm and dry but not sweaty. I've now got the Cold Killers leggings and balaclava too, as well as some gloves. Great quality, good value, and looks good too. Excellent job!

    We have “wet leaf” season at the moment so I have only had one opportunity to wear the Cold Killer Jacket. Rather than wear it as a mid layer I simply wore it over an Urbane shirt and a thick tee shirt to test how well it stood up to the cold and the wind. I was pleased to see that it worked very well to keep the wind off and I was not cold, despite the 7 degree temperature. I am confident the jacket will get a lot of use once the streets have dried out again.

    I bought this along with the men's sport top which I was really after, then thought it a mistake as not sure when I would need it. However, after wearing it on bicycle the past few days in minus 4 temperatures, I have changed my mind. Along with head and hand covering, I am very well insulated, good high collar when fully zipped up. Addition of a few high-viz strips would make it stand out, literally.

    This is probably the best cold killer jackets I have ever used especially for endurance mountain biking up here in the lake where the weather conditions can be extremely wet and cold. The jacket has a real comfortable fit, excellent length on the sleeves to keep the wrists warm. I understand this is jacket is for motorcyclists but is more than ideal for mountain biking, the only down side is it could do with a rear pouch.

    Bought this jacket from my local dealer with the Knox quality in mind. I was looking for a lightweight windproof jacket for use while abroad in combination with Knox body armour when my British riding kit is just too hot and bulky. I have already worn it in this country under my normal motorcycle jacket and I can vouch for its comfort and warmth. I have also found it just as warm on its own while out walking even in these cold months. The styling makes it versatile enough for a walk out to the pub as well. Can't fault the styling or finish. Only omission is the lack of a loop to hang it up by.

    During the recent snow that hit the County I was walking to work. I wore my Wind Buddy with just a fleece and t shirt beneath. Even at -10 degrees it was still plenty warm enough! I cannot comprehend how something so thin and lacking in bulk can provide such warmth! I can’t recommend this product enough. I have a Six Pack and Knox armour in my Hood jeans, and the Wind Buddy just confirms that you make fantastic products. Saving for some Handroids and some Zeros next! And you are a British company!
