Style Notes

The Women’s Action shirt, is the foundation of the armoured shirt collection.  Perfect for wearing under suitable motorcycle jackets and can also be worn for other adrenalin sports.

A sporty close fitting stretch fabric shirt, designed to be worn under a jacket to give close fitting more effective protection to riders, whilst offering supreme levels of comfort.

The armour is held firmly in the right place rather than being loose in a jacket where it can move around.

Stretch mesh has been sewn into the design for increased breathability.

Featuring a tech welded zipped chest pocket, flat locked seams. YKK Metaluxe zips are

used throughout.

Includes removable Knox MICRO-LOCK armour in the shoulders, elbows and back.

  • The Action shirt is designed as an interchangeable layer to be worn under a jacket and is part of the Knox Layering System.
  • Includes removable Knox MICRO-LOCK CE approved back, shoulder and elbow body armour.
  • Made from stretch elastane and mesh panels, the Action Shirt is fitted and keeps the armour in place and close to the body when on the bike.
  • The Action shirt features contrast black textured mesh panels to enhance breathability.
  • YKK Metaluxe zip on the front with Knox branded zip pull.
  • YKK Metaluxe zipped waist pockets with a tech welded construction.
  • All armour can be removed for washing the shirt.
  • All seams are flat locked for comfort without pressure points.
  • Colour – Black with contrast grey cuffs and welt.
  • 7 Sizes – XS(8) – 3XL(20)

Bei mir passt diese Jacke fast unter alle meine locker geschnittenen Alltagsjacken. Schneller Versand und sehr gute Qualität. Eine tolle Alternative zu den meist unbequemen Protektorenjacken weil man richtig gut damit aussieht und trotzdem geschützt ist. Dankeschön :-)

    I ordered the Lea Jacket and the Armoured Shirt for my wife. We had been looking at other wax jackets (Merlin and Spada) but in the end we were tempted by the Knox Xmas deal which reduced the jacket to £50. However, the shirt and jacket combined still came out more expensive. Nevertheless the quality of the Knox products is superb and worth the extra money, especially because of the shirt's versatility.Although the Lea jacket is described as black and looks black in the photos the waxy finish gives it a soft brownish patina which is unique. The Knox style is essentially subtle and stylish. The collar, cuffs and overall cut exude sophistication and at the same it is a practical and technical motorcycle garment.The postal delivery ran like clockwork.

    This is my second action shirt - doing the commute five days a week as well as being out for fun at the weekend I needed time to wash one and use the other! So I would guess I have had my original shirt for nearly a year and next to this one it still looks good as new. As for the garment itself not only is it convenient having all your armour in one layer, the fit is really flattering too. On cold days I sometimes wear a large outer jacket to cram more layers in underneath, now I know whatever I am wearing my armour fits me and is always in the right place.

    I was amazed at how quickly my order arrived in Canada from UK. I was really surprised. I was equally surprised and impressed at the attention to detail when shipping I appreciated the packaging. The shirt fit like a glove it was exactly as advertised I was worried about the sizing but it fit perfectly. I am hoping to get out of my motorcycle next week and I hope I don't have to test the strength of the armor but it feels strong and I feel confident wearing it having that extra protection.     Only criticism is: I purchased the chest protector that goes with it. this is fitted using a single velcro strip, after fitting it twice the velcro from the chest protector has pulled the fabric next to the velcro attachment area on the jacket, which has caused marks and puckering in the fabric that are visible on the front. I think there should be an extra protective layer around the velcro strip on the inside of the jacket to protect the fabric from the chest protector velcro..I'm worried that it's going to start looking knackered at the front after a few wears...

    Exactly what I wanted - super fit, comfort and just the right amount of protection. I love that I can wear it with many jackets I already have and I don't feel like an ogre in it. I look good but I feel protected as well. I would recommend it to all the lady bikers out there!

    This fits true to size and the armour sits mostly in the correct places. The elbow armour rides a bit more towards the outside than I'm comfortable with. However, for fit and function that doesn't require you to dress in chunky motorcycle jackets this fits the bill with a bit of style. Add a nice leather jacket over this for abrasion protection and you can leave the "riding the motorcycle round the world" look behind when just out for a quick run to dinner or the shops. Thanks!

    The service I've received for my recent purchased from Planet-Knox has been second to none!



    I originally ordered 2 Ladies Knox Armoured Shirts (sizes 8 & 10) as to not knowing which one would be a best fit for me. The delivery was prompt and items well packed. There were no issues with returning one of the shirts and the promptness in handling the refund and notifications were fantastic.



    As for the shirt, I wore this over the weekend, it was incredibly comfortable to wear and felt secure, with none of the armour slipping out of place or digging in, and the pocket in the front is perfect for holding small items.

    I am so glad I got this armoured shirt. It fits so well under pretty much any and every jacket I already have, it fits really close to the body and for the first time ever I don't feel like a misshapen ogre when I want to ride my scooter. You can't even tell you're wearing it under clothes/jackets. Also it was delivered in 24 hours!

    This is what we women want, flexibility in our clothing when riding and now we have the option of not having to wear heavy bike gear at any time of the year. Wearing this I'm protected, it’s very secure, the armour stays where it’s supposed to and it has the added appear of looking good. One of the other benefits I’ve found with this is you can slip it off and stick it in a backpack and you don’t have bulky jackets to trail about with you. It allows you to wear whatever you want over the top of it.

    I arrived back from the Vulcan S launch yesterday –

    I got no end of compliments on the Lea wax jacket while I was away, I used the dry inside long sleeved top, the armoured shirt (which was super comfortable) and the quilted jacket which kept me warm – the whole system worked together brilliantly to keep me warm and protected.

    I'd recommend the armoured shirt to anyone.
