Knox is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join the company and be based at HQ in Cumbria.

Knox is an established sportswear company that design and produce innovative and modern clothing, protection, gloves and other accessories for the motorcycle market.

Knox is based between their head office in the Lake District and their East-London design studio. This role is based in HQ, Cockermouth.

This role will suit someone with experience in video and image creation who is capable of producing professional work from start to finish, on-location and in a studio. From concept to release, including all pre and post-production steps in between.

Job Title: Videographer, Photographer and Editor

Location: Cockermouth, CA13 0HT. United Kingdom.
Permanent part-time role: 40 hrs per week.

Salary is dependant on experience.

The role will involve but is not exclusive to:

  • Working with the Director to plan, research and agree on projects and storyboards.
  • Working as part of the creative team to take concepts from storyboards, through to finished pieces.
  • Producing videos and collection photographs in Knox HQ in-house studio.
  • Regular on-location shoots for motorcycle reviews and product lifestyle photoshoots.
  • Working with models/talent/presenters.
  • Working with models/talent/presenters.
  • Editing videos in Davinci Resolve, Premier Pro and motion graphics in After Effects.
  • Editing images in Lightroom and Photoshop.
  • Re-editing content for social media platforms.
  • Managing, maintaining and organizing equipment to the highest level possible.

The Candidate should have/be:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in similar roles.
  • Excellent technical knowledge in this area.
  • You will be working in a small team so being a self-starter, being comfortable taking the lead and taking initiative is crucial. As you will be working in a small team you must also be flexible and adaptable.
  • Proactive in mastering any new skills required to complete the job and to keep the brand and its marketing innovative and fresh.
  • Organised, self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail, a flexible attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Versatile and multi-faceted, able to work on multiple projects is fundamental in this role.
  • A creative thinker, have strong storytelling skills, be able to create innovative and attention-grabbing content and show initiative in all aspects of work.
  • Able to work and design with lighting; both flash and continuous.
  • Able to work well with models/talent/presenters and have confidence in giving direction.
  • A good understanding of sound design and strong audio production skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of editing software. Premier Pro, Davinci Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom specifically.
  • Excellent knowledge and ability of colour grading video and image editing.
  • Capable of editing and turning round content with speed and efficiency.
  • Excellent literacy and strong communication skills.
  • A love of video and image creation. A knowledge and interest in motorcycles, outdoor sports and technical products would be desirable.
  • Fit and energetic and be able to work on location in a range of settings.
  • Be a dedicated team member and work weekends/evenings if necessary to reach a deadline or if the project requires it.
  • Willing to work as part of the Knox team at events if required.
  • A clean driving license. A motorcycle license would be an advantage.
