PPE:<\/strong> Personal Protective Equipment.<\/p>\n

Use<\/h4>\n

Back protector for motorcycle riding but maybe used for other activities where similar risks of impact occur. The protector offers limited protection from impact and abrasion in the event of an accident or fall from a motorcycle which may include impact and abrasion from the riding surface or impact with the motorcycle or conflicting vehicles and other objects. This back protector cannot guarantee protection against traumas caused by bending, twisting, torsions, or traumas caused by extreme movements and cannot prevent crushing as the result of striking an object.<\/p>\n

Performance Recorded During Technical Testing<\/h4>\n

The performance level marked in the example pictogram shows a level of either 1 or 2, depending on the results obtained during impact attenuation tests. EN 1621-2: 2014 standard determines two protection levels, 1 or 2. When impact attenuation is tested the transmitted force shall be below the values expressed in the following tables. The protectors satisfy the requirements of Regulation EU 2016\/425.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Sizing<\/h4>\n

EN 1621-2:2014 defines protector sizes by the length between the waist and shoulder. Make sure you have the correct size. Please note that a single back protector cannot fit all body dimensions.<\/p>\n

Use with Other Garments<\/h4>\n

The protector may influence the performance and fit of other items of protective wear. Please make sure other items are appropriate to be worn with this garment. It is advised to combine this garment with appropriate helmets and other complementary garments in accordance with EN 17092:2020 and gloves with EN 13594:2015.<\/p>\n

Restraint<\/h4>\n

The protectors should be centered over the area they are designed to protect and will either be held in place in a protector pocket or will be sewn directly to the garment shell. You must make sure the garment\u2019s opening zip is securely fastened in order to hold the protectors in place and give the intended protection.<\/p>\n

Care and Maintenance<\/h4>\n

Storage:<\/strong> Hang garment in a dry, ventilated environment, out of sunlight and away from direct heat sources. Do not leave on the floor or under heavy items – it may lead to the protectors becoming misshapen, ripped, or damaged in some way. Do not fold jacket or back protector in half as this may cause damage to the back protector. Keep away from chemical substances that could damage the material and lose its protective properties.<\/p>\n

Maintenance:<\/strong> Regular inspection (at least annually) should be made to the impact protection and fitting system for obvious signs of wear or broken stitches. If either are found, the garment or protectors should be returned for professional inspection and repair. If the impact protectors are worn or damaged or there is any doubt as to their condition, they should be replaced immediately. It is advised that the protectors are replaced every 5 years regardless of condition. If the protectors have at any time received an impact due to an accident scenario, they should be replaced immediately.<\/p>\n

Wash Care:<\/strong> Carefully remove protectors from the garment before washing. The protectors should be cleaned by hand wash only. If the protectors are sewn directly to the garment shell, please check the care label for exact garment washing instructions.<\/p>\n

Suitable Constituent Materials<\/h4>\n

The materials used in the manufacturing for the protectors are resistant to all atmospheric and environmental conditions which can be expected. Furthermore, to our knowledge, the materials contain no chemicals or substances that are banned by EU regulations which cause skin irritation or have any detrimental effects to the user.<\/p>\n

Packaging<\/h4>\n

Please dispose of the packaging supplied with the garment thoughtfully and according to your local regulations. If disposal of this product is required, it is advised to dispose via landfill. Do not under any circumstances burn or incinerate as you may be exposed to toxic fumes.<\/p>\n

Accessories and Spare Parts<\/h4>\n

These are not available for the impact protectors – if replacement is required, contact your dealer, distributor, or the manufacturer direct.<\/p>\n

WARNING!<\/strong> Do not use this PPE 5 years after the date of purchase.
\nWARNING!<\/strong> The main closures and restraint mechanisms should always be securely fastened when in use or the protector\u2019s ability to provide protection in the event of an accident may be severely reduced.
\nWARNING!<\/strong> Do not under any circumstances permanently remove or modify the impact protectors contained in this garment or transfer the protectors to another garment.
\nWARNING!<\/strong> No PPE or combination of PPE can offer full protection against injury, in particular severe spinal injuries.
\nWARNING!<\/strong> You are advised to replace the protectors if there is any sign of accident damage unless it has been confirmed as fit for use by the manufacturer.
\nWARNING!<\/strong> Please ensure the back protector is the correct size. The manufacturer cannot accept responsibility if the wrong size back protector is used or is used in an inappropriate manner.
\nWARNING!<\/strong> Do not burn or incinerate as you will be exposed to toxic fumes.
\nWARNING!<\/strong> Disposal of this product must be in accordance with local disposal legislation.<\/p>\n
