Aber wo auch immer das Leben Sie hinf\u00fchrt und was auch immer Sie im Laufe Ihrer Zeit fahren werden, irgendwo muss Ihre Reise beginnen, und hier beginnt das Abenteuer!<\/p>\n<p>Ob Sie es glauben oder nicht, die Aussicht, die KTM 390 Adventure zu fahren, war etwas, auf das ich mich wirklich gefreut habe. Nicht, weil es das beste Motorrad w\u00e4re, das ich je gefahren bin, sondern auf den Gedanken, die Gef\u00fchle wieder aufleben zu lassen, die ich hatte, als ich mit dem Motorradfahren anfing, das Versprechen von Spa\u00df, Freiheit und echten Abenteuern am Horizont.<\/p>\n<p>Zu sagen, dass das Motorrad diese Erwartungen erf\u00fcllt hat, ist eine Untertreibung, ich habe es absolut geliebt! Whether that\u2019s flicking from left to right on tight and twisty scenic routes, over taking traffic on faster A roads, or tackling rough off-road terrain  &#8211;  the 390 Adventure excels.<\/p>\n<p>Obwohl sie als KTMs Adventure-Einstiegsmodell vermarktet wird und f\u00fcr jeden Markt zug\u00e4nglich sein soll, scheint es nicht viel Einsteigerniveau an ihr zu geben, sie f\u00fchlt sich in jeder Hinsicht richtig an.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not to say that KTM\u2019s larger capacity adventure bikes like the 890 and 1290 aren\u2019t more premium, its just that the 390 holds its head very high not only against its competitors, but alongside its bigger brothers  &#8211;  it just feels right in relation to what it is intended to be  &#8211;  that\u2019s a massive compliment. A great TFT screen, good quality adjustable WP suspension, good continental TKC70 tyres, good brakes. In build quality terms, the 390 punches harder than it has any right to! There were moments I really had to remind myself I was only riding a small capacity single cylinder machine, it feels really eager to go and only runs out of puff at higher speeds  &#8211;  it\u2019s a high performance motor that definitely embodies the KTM ready to Race theology. It was a joy to ride on our naggery Lake District passes, flicking it left to right and maximising the power on offer.<\/p>\n<p>Sie hat zwar nicht die Leistung einer gr\u00f6\u00dferen Maschine, aber das macht sie durch ihren Charakter wieder wett. Egal, welches KTM Motorrad ich fahre, sie tun alle auf wundersame Weise das Gleiche: Sie machen Lust auf einen Wheelie, auf Kufen und zaubern einfach ein breites Grinsen auf Ihr Gesicht. Die 390er tut das sogar mehr als jedes andere Adventure-Bike, das ich je gefahren bin.<\/p>\n<p>Das Handling ist fantastisch. Ich bin so froh, dass KTM sich bei diesem Motorrad f\u00fcr ein 19-Zoll-Vorderrad entschieden hat. Keine Kompromisse beim Handling, gro\u00dfe Auswahl an Reifen, hervorragend geeignet f\u00fcr Adventure-Bikes im Gel\u00e4nde! We took it on some of the roughest legal trails we have in the Lake District with big sharp rocks coupled with steep inclines and declines  &#8211;  generally terrain that I\u2019ve tried and failed on larger adventure bikes and that we normally reserve for our 701 Enduro! From about 20m into our off-road day, a grin ensued that didn\u2019t drop the whole day! What a brilliant days riding and what a brilliant bike!<\/p>\n<p>Ich w\u00fcrde sogar so weit gehen zu sagen, dass die 390 Adventure das vertrauenserweckendste Adventure-Motorrad ist, das ich je gefahren bin, und ich bin \u00fcberzeugt, dass 95% der normalen Fahrer sich auf diesem Motorrad wohler f\u00fchlen und es besser beherrschen als jedes andere Adventure-Motorrad auf dem Markt. Aber ich kann Ihnen sagen, dass Sie Ihren Geist ein wenig \u00f6ffnen m\u00fcssen, wenn Sie das 390er Motorrad als erfahrener Fahrer voll und ganz sch\u00e4tzen wollen. Beim Fahren geht es nicht darum, dass das Motorrad Ihr Fahrerlebnis dominiert, Ihnen durch seine Gr\u00f6\u00dfe vorschreibt, wohin Sie fahren, oder Sie mit seiner Leistung \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigt. Beim Fahren geht es darum, was Sie als Fahrer tun wollen, wohin Sie wollen und die 390 ist das Fahrzeug, das Sie dorthin bringt. Sie gehen nicht auf eine Fahrt <strong><u>auf dem 390 Abenteuer<\/u><\/strong>, <strong><u>Sie<\/u><\/strong> Sie machen einen Ausflug und der 390 erm\u00f6glicht es Ihnen, dorthin zu gelangen.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn ich an Abenteuer denke, m\u00f6chte ich mich an die Orte erinnern, an denen ich war, an die Aussichten, die ich gesehen habe, und an das Erfolgserlebnis, den Gipfel des Berges erreicht zu haben... Das Abenteuer geh\u00f6rt dem Fahrer, nicht dem St\u00fcck Metall unter Ihnen. Ultimately, it\u2019s a difficult bike to criticise and what criticisms are made need to be seen through the lens of where the bike sits in the market place and the way its priced. \u00a0We didn\u2019t have the bike long enough to comment on reliability  &#8211;  it was fault-less in our hands. Therefore, I\u2019m struggling to call out anything as its just brilliant. But if it was my own personal bike, I would change the following:<\/p>\n<p>Firstly &#8211; I would either remove the wind screen entirely or get a taller one  &#8211;  unfortunately the current offering simply blasts wind directly at my helmet and creates a massive buffeting effect. I would want to fix this.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly  &#8211;  The traction control resets every time you stall the bike and the engine is quite stall happy and turning it back off is a faff. Not a problem on road, but riding it off road with traction control on means that the power is interrupted when you need it and can make it hard to make progress on slippery terrain. I would seek an aftermarket way of disabling the traction control in this setting. Hopefully in future model years, KTM may introduce an off-road mode to the model like their other Adventure bikes which allow some rear wheel slip.<\/p>\n<p>Finally  &#8211;  I would add a stronger sump guard to protect the underside of the exhaust which is available via KTM parts and or a mod to slightly increase ground clearance.
