Es ist sogar ziemlich selten, dass man auf einem Motorradtreffen keine MT 09 sieht... und was ist der Grund daf\u00fcr? Nun, zumindest meiner Meinung nach sind sie ein fantastisches Paket, ein echtes Prunkst\u00fcck von einem Motor, eine wirklich bequeme Sitzposition mit aufrechtem Lenker, ein gutes Fahrverhalten auf der Stra\u00dfe mit einem wirklich leichten und handlichen Gef\u00fchl, ein futuristisches Styling und das alles zu einem wirklich wettbewerbsf\u00e4higen Preispunkt. Es ist einfach ein \u00fcberzeugendes Produkt. Es ist auch die Basiseinheit, auf der eine Modellreihe aufgebaut wird. Zun\u00e4chst einmal ist das Einf\u00fchrungsvideo wirklich cool, futuristisch und erz\u00e4hlt eindeutig die Geschichte einer Evolution und Wiedergeburt des Originals. Es passt zur Yamaha Dark Side of Japan Designsprache, die zum Synonym f\u00fcr die MT-Reihe geworden ist. Das f\u00fchrt uns zum Aussehen des Motorrads. Dies ist eindeutig ein umstrittenes Thema und wenn man sich die Kommentare zum offiziellen Yamaha-Video ansieht, wird klar, dass es nicht jedem gef\u00e4llt. Meiner Meinung nach ist das bei neuen Motorr\u00e4dern jedoch oft der Fall. Es kann eine Weile dauern, bis man sich an sie gew\u00f6hnt... Ich pers\u00f6nlich finde, dass sie gro\u00dfartig aussieht und ein guter Schritt nach vorne ist. Der bisherige MT09-Motor ist ein absolutes Prachtst\u00fcck! Ich bin ihn schon in mehreren Varianten gefahren, zuerst in der Tracer 900 mit BikeWorld, als wir sie gegen die 950er Multistrada antreten lie\u00dfen... Ich erinnere mich, dass ich \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigt war, wie das Motorrad das Gef\u00fchl der Laufruhe eines Vierzylinders vermittelte und so leicht zu fahren war, und gleichzeitig eine gro\u00dfartige Leistungs- und Drehmomentverteilung im gesamten Drehzahlbereich hatte. Die MT09 ist auch das Motorrad, auf dem ich bei Extreme Wheelie das Wheeliefahren gelernt habe. Es ist das perfekte Motorrad daf\u00fcr, weil es so viel Kraft hat, um das Vorderrad hochzuziehen. Er erf\u00fcllt jetzt die Euro 5-Norm und ist dennoch im nassen Zustand mit 189 kg 4 kg leichter als zuvor. In der Tat \u00e4hneln das Motorkonzept und das Gewicht der neuen 890 Duke R von KTM, auch wenn der 3-Zylinder-Motor im Vergleich zum 890er-Twin eine sanftere Leistungsabgabe erm\u00f6glicht. Das ist ein weiteres gro\u00dfartiges Beispiel f\u00fcr die Innovation von Yamahas, \u00e4hnlich wie bei der R1 und wie sie den massiven Katalysator versteckt haben, der f\u00fcr Euro 5 erforderlich ist, ohne ein Auspuffsystem zu haben, das wie ein Seitenwagen aussieht, der an der Seite eines Motorrads festgeschnallt ist. Die neue MT09 hat einen gro\u00dfen Katalysator, und ich bin mir sicher, dass er zum Vorschein kommt, wenn das Vorderrad in der Luft ist, aber sie haben ihn so gut mit einem sehr sch\u00f6nen Auspuff unter dem Bauch versteckt. Die geschmiedeten R\u00e4der sind auch 700 g leichter, was zweifellos die Einlenkgeschwindigkeit verbessern wird.
