Firstly, the Orsa Leather MK11 is part of the Knox Hand Armour range meaning that it takes technology, R&D and know-how from the a glove widely considered as the best motorcycle glove in the world, the Knox Handroid.

The latest version Mk11 features upgrades in terms of design, fit and extra elasticated panels to improve fit.

The Orsa Leather MK11 is built from Cow hide on the top of the hand, with a Goat skin palm for extra feel and abrasion resistance. The glove also features plastic scopes on the fingers for extra abrasion resistance. There is also a class leading 3 part knuckle guard made up of memory foam, honeycomb gel and a hard plastic shell.

Other Features include.

Knox Scaphoid Protection System

The Orsa Leather, like all gloves in the Knox Hand Armour collection, features the Knox Scaphoid protection system. The scaphoid is a small bone at the base of the wrist connecting the thumb and is one of the most commonly broken bones in motorcycle accidents.
The main reason the scaphoid is injured in a motorcycle accident is via gloves gripping when they make contact with the road causing a hyper-extension of the wrist. The scaphoid protection system simply adds strategically placed sliders so that when the glove hits the ground, the glove does not grip but slides eliminating hyperextension of the wrist and scaphoid injuries. Really simple, but extremely effective.

BOA Closure

This adds a really great piece of technology to the Orsa Leather and adds to the convenience of the glove.
The reasons for it are that it is totally micro-adjustable in that you can get a really tailored fit on the wrist, much more so than Velcro for example.

The Boa also comes with a lifetime guarantee, backed by the strength of its components, should it break through regular use we will repair or replace it for free.

CE Certified

The Orsa Leather is fully CE Approved. This is the CE Approval EN13594, which is not the basic certification stamp but the 15 point CE test that covers all aspects of the gloves including:

Material content, sizing, dexterity, restraint tests, tear strength, seam strength, cut resistance abrasion resistance and impact resistance amongst others. This is a stamp of assurance that while they are a shorter glove, they still do offer a great level of protection.
