Knox Cross Lite Knee Protectors have been awarded ‘Best Value’, in What Mountain Bike magazine’s Knee Pads test.

Testers praised the Cross Lite’s high level of protection; the extra coverage area provided by the pre-shaped hardshell cups; and the snug and comfortable fit provided by the single retaining strap system, awarding the Knox knee protectors best value out of the five sets on test.

Updated for 2011, Cross Lite Knee Protectors are designed to be as unobtrusive and comfortable as possible, without sacrificing protection.

Certified to tough EN1621-1 European safety regulations, Cross Lite guards are built to the same standard as motocross protectors, and use a ‘soft armour’ construction so they’re slim, lightweight, will flex as the rider moves and are designed to wrap around the knee to ensure protection is maintained in all positions.

Quick and easy to put on and off, Cross Lite protectors are fitted into a tough stretch tube made from hardwearing, High Tenacity nylon/cotton fabric. The tube system also helps to maintain maximum knee movement, and features a moisture management finish to help keep the wearer cool.

A soft comfortable elastic strap wraps around the front to hug the protector into the knee to ensure it stays in position, gripper elastic is also included at the top of the stretch tube, to prevent slipping. The strap is fully adjustable, for a precision fit, and employs quick release Velcro® fastening, for easy entry and exit.
