The DfT has recognised that back protectors are a crucial part of the safety package and invited Knox to participate as they were Britain’s most high profile brand. Knox is highly visible on The Academy web site and in the support vehicle at BSB events.
Reigning BSB Champion and current leader in the standings Gregorio Lavillia is a recent convert to Knox. He approached the Company at last year’s NEC Show to request a back protector because he’d noticed that the majority of racers in the paddock seemed to use Knox. He had a point, because three out of the last five BSB Champions have won wearing a Knox back protector.
